Hi environmentaly friends,
Acid Rain: Acid
rain occurs due to the presence of certain pollutants in the atmosphere. Acid
rain can be caused due to combustion of fossil fuels or erupting volcanoes or
rotting vegetation which release sulphur dioxide and nitrogen oxides into the
atmosphere. Acid rain is a known environmental problem that can have serious
effect on human health, wildlife and aquatic species.
How to avoid the
acid rain?
We can avoid acid
rain in several ways:
Use less polluting
transport such as the metro;
Using sources of
cleaner energy: hydroelectric, geothermal energy, tidal energy, wind energy and
perchance nuclear energy;
Use fuel with low
sulfur content;
Control the amount
of plants in the city;
Walk the walk is
good for health and decrease to the emissions of many pollutants that cars send
